The French bureau of Tourism (Frans Verkeersbureau) called on bloggers to generate more exposure for French cities and coastal towns.
In October, a group of bloggers will go to battle in teams of two, a ‘city team’ and ‘coastal team’. Every weekend, two teams will travel to France and make a report on their chosen destination.
The adventures of the bloggers can be followed on social media via #fransekusttegensteden and the special action page. By voting on their favorite team, fans have a chance of winning a trip to France.
Popular platforms, such as GewoonvoorHem, OhMyFoodness, Manify and Citymom, are participating on this campaign.
Wouter Glaser, founder of PR agency Glasnost, said: “By working together with bloggers, in a short amount of time Atout France is able to place a lot of great content online, and trigger a broad target group through the credibility of the bloggers.”
The campaign runs until the last weekend of October.
